Due to its special shape the Gamakatsu C12 is a very popular hook for all kinds of shrimp and scud patterns as well as for tying a Caddis Pupa. This weighted version takes the nymph even fast to the bottom - where trout and grayling feed. Instead of knotting your tipping to an ordinary eye, the nylon/fluorocarbon is put through the hole in the lead head. We recommend using a Rapala knot (or any other loop knot) to attach your fly. By doing so it can play more lifely in the current - without lacking strike detection.
