Founded by Vittorio Moretti in the late 1970s, the Bellavista winery is located in Erbusco, in the heart of the Franciacorta wine region, near Lake Iseo and the Alps, which create ideal conditions for the production of excellent sparkling wines in this small corner of Lombardy. The estate covers over 200 hectares of vineyards. Bellavista Franciacorta Alma Gran Cuvée Rosé is a blend of a majority of Chardonnay with approximately one-third Pinot Noir. The grapes are selected and harvested by hand from the finest vineyards with vines averaging 25 years old. After vinification, the wine ages on the lees, partly in stainless steel and partly in barrels. The result is an elegant wine that embodies the winery's style and elegance, completing the Gran Cuvée line. In the glass, it reveals a delicate, antique pink color, highlighted by a fine, persistent perlage. Its aromatic profile is fragrant and broad, with notes of peach and lychee, pomegranate, white flowers, and ripe citrus, followed by hints of almond and marzipan. On the palate, it is silky, refined, and fruity, with a creamy texture and lively freshness. The finish is long and elegant. Try it with sushi and sashimi.
